Kavindu Homestay

We loved sitting on the porch in the morning/evening with a cuppa tea, was super quiet and relaxing. Food was delicious and the hosts were so lovely, would stay here again! Close to town and everything you would want to do in Ella

Lovely place to stay for a visit to Ella! The family were really kind and welcoming. They were very helpful throughout our stay and provided a really friendly service! The room was really sweet with great facilities and the bed super comfortable!

I had an amazing lovely stay at Kavindu's house. Him and his family are adorable. The room is great and has its own bathroom, and you get to sit on the terrace in the middle of trees. The house is close to the center, but still away enough that you feel relaxed and in a home environment. Kavindu's mom, Shriya (sorry if I am misspelling) made me an AMAZING breakfast. In summary, they all treated me so well, and I cannot thank them enough. If you are in Ella, also check out the Soul Cafe, this new place where Kavindu is currently working, a suspended deck very relaxed with an amazing view of the nine arch bridge, the mountains and forest. Thank you so much, Kavindu and the whole family! Gihilla en nam!

You stay with a super nice family. The owner offers you tea or coffee and pastries on arrival and every day. The accommodation is within walking distance of the nine arch bridge and the city center.

Unfortunately, the homestay has a major humidity problem. This leads to an extremely unpleasant and unhealthy odor. The pillows were moldy and the bed was extremely damp. This also attracted a lot of creepy-crawlies.

The family was very sweet and kind . Offered us tea and coffee and fruit and took care of us. Location was about 7 minutes walk from the main street.

Actually, the room more beautiful than the picture, we stayed there two nights, everything is perfect. The landlady so kindly, ever morning or we arrived home also made tea for us. Love here very much!!

Very nice and kind family. Always with smile. You can ask for laundry, breakfast or dinner. The food is very good. The place is near to the main attractions. You wake up with the sound of the birds. You can see monkeys and squirrel. We had a very relaxing time.

Very good place and hosts. The owners really nice, welcoming, caring, helped us with everything, make us feel like home. Quite place and good food. Very recommended, good value for money.

On the last day the water finished, but they took care of us with bottles.

The staff was very accommodating and even got me a conversion plug to charge my phone.

The Wi-Fi was not working properly. A bit of a climb to reach the accommodation.
