Isuru Homestay

We truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful location. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful with stunning misty forest views in the morning—perfect for those who love nature and tranquility. Even though Ella can be quite busy, this place felt like a quiet sanctuary away from the main noise. The family is wonderful and they serve a delicious breakfast every morning. The location offers excellent walking access to Little Adam’s Peak and the Nine Arch Bridge. Everything is within walking distance, including the town center (it’s a pleasant 20-minute walk along the road) and some great local dinner spots. We also enjoyed a trip to the waterfalls; you’ll need a ride for that, but it’s very easy to take the local buses. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay in Ella!

Really good place. I think it is the best location in Ella. It is not in city centrer so it is quiet and close to nature, great view. Really good breakfasts. The best thing is location it is close, in walking distance to nine arches bridge and little Adams peak. Also there are restaurants really close to this place. The owner was nice and friendly. There is a laundry option in this hotel. The road to hotel is dark after sunset so if you need go to restaurant you need a flashlight or light in phone, we had no problems at walking at night

Heel leuk verblijf vlakbij Ella met prachtig uitzicht. De kamers zijn gezellig, rustig en schoon, met groot balkon en heerlijk ontbijt! Meest uitgebreide ontbijt dat we hebben gehad op onze reis. Super aardige eigenaren. Met de tuktuk ben je zo in Ella en je kunt lopend naar de Nine Arch Bridge. Echt top verblijf.

The dirt road to get to the homestay was not possible for our driver to do

We only spent one night, but it was lovely. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, jungle view from the balcony. The whole family was very kind and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. Thank you!

Die Lage ist hervorragend. Auch die Gastgeberin ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Außerdem hat sie jeden morgen Frühstück zubereitet und wir bekamen jeden Tag etwas anderes. Als wir eine Spinne im Zimmer hatten, kam die Gastgeberin und hat diese rausgebracht. An einem Abend hat es geregnet und es war sehr gemütlich im Zimmer mit dem Moskitonetz über dem Bett! Der Weg zum Homestay ist problemlos zu bewältigen. Wir hatten eine sehr gute Zeit!

Ein Kleiderhaken oder ein wenig mehr Abstellfäche wäre nett, wobei wir unsere Rücksäcke über die 4 Nächte bequem geöffnet lassen konnten. Durch das Wetter ging das Wifi nicht so gut, die Gastgeberin hat aber alles gegeben, um das Problem zu beheben. Vermutlich gibt es das „Problem“ auf der ganzen Insel.
