Ubud Taksu Homestay

Super nice people. Clean. Big room. Bigger than I expected. Close to eveything I needed. Quiet. Very reasonably priced.

Bathroom could be updated.

The host is very helpful and welcoming. I get an insight into how a Balinese family lives. The location is very convenient to the Yoga Barn; it took me less than 5 minutes to get to their main entrance. The room is fairly clean for a homestay. I appreciate that they let me boil water in their kitchen, or would boil it for me when I asked.

The corner of the roof was mouldy which resulted in a musty smell which was unpleasant. I informed the host who then gave me a dehydrator which helped. However, it still made my stay less comfortable. The bathroom cleanliness was a little questionable as the shower floor isn't tiled and the water doesn't drain well. I'm not sure if the black marks on the room of the shower are mould.

The water pressure in the shower was very weak

Very nice and spacious place close to the yoga barn and to the center. Friendly staff and multiple options for breakfast. Also the garden is beautiful!

The sheets had some stains but as this is a homestay it didn't bother me.

Big size rooms, very clean

This is a beautiful home stay perfectly located away from the busy traffic and a stone throw away from the Yoga Barn and the centre. This is my favorite home stay in Ubud its value for money, the most comfortable bed, excellent hosting and great breakfast. You really cannot ask for much more! The family here are so accommodating, sincere and understanding. It will have my choice every time!!

Very convenient location near yoga barn. Nice breakfast. The light in the room is a little dark but not a big problem. Cute puppy dog in the yard. The landlord is very kind.
