Hillgrove House

Cannot put into words how special our stay was. Margaret was an absolute lady. Myself and my son were cycling from Donegal to Longford for charity. Margaret brought us the local restaurant An Craoibhinn, and insisted on covering our dinner! She was so kind. The house was exceptionally clean and homely. The house is the epitome of what a B&B should be. Thanks Margaret and Fiona xx

La propriétaire nous a confié une clef qui ne permettait pas d'ouvrir le logement. Nous avons tenté de la joindre par mail, elle ne nous a pas répondu. Puis ne nous a pas cru. Nous sommes restés 45 mn dehors à attendre dehors. Par chance d'autres touristes sont revenus vers 22hs et nous avons pu rentrer. Il faisait froid et il pleuvait. C'est intolérable et très inconfortable, inadmissible

Very nice and comfortable. Easy to access. Convenient parking. Absolutely lovely hosts.

Breakfast was more continental than cooked. It was very good and Maggie goes to a lot of trouble to keep things homely and good. She even collected me from the station which is brilliant because the area is beautiful but not easy to get to without transport.

Nothing that Maggie has any control over the area is quite hilly and I’m not terribly Mobile but she collected me from the station which made life so much easier

Lovely house in a quiet area. Warm welcome. Kitchen available for making a cup of tea. Very comfortable bed. Yoghurt and fruit at breakfast. I'd highly recommend.
