Breakfast was great, and the hosts were very polite and accommodating.

I was a little surprised by the extra charge for A/C use. I don't remember seeing this mentioned while booking.

Lovely homestay with very helpful staff.

The hosts were very accommodating, hospitable, resourceful and downright amazing. They went out of their way to cater to my extended requirement for luggage storage at their place post checkout. They also entertained my queries with respect to the Indian Railways system. They were also kind enough to assist me with heavy luggage, hailing auto drivers and providing good recommendations for souvenirs shopping etc. The owner also invited me to taste their homegrown mangoes in their yard. Overall, the hosts Abraham (Owner) and Anna (Staff) were very resourceful, accommodating and helpful. Would definitely recommend future patrons to stay at their humble abode if they want to experience a true Kerala Homestay experience for good value for money.

The overall stay at Thyparambil was pleasant and didn't have any issues. Perhaps it may be an improved suggestion to provide some blankets for the beds (they did provide a white sheet) and the WiFi connectivity in certain areas of the room were not as functional. Nevertheless, you can still access it closer to the entrance of the room.
