Amazingly nice host, great location and the best Sri Lankan breakfast we had during our 3 weeks trip! The room was nice and clean with an amazing balcony with a sea view! Fantastic!

Staying at Sunset Cabana was like staying with at home with family. Very friendly family business, right on the beach with a great balcony. Breakfast was enormous and the hosts were generous. They even organised transport back to Colombo at a reasonable rate as I needed to catch a flight on the day of check out.

The room was warm, but a giant ceiling fan was there to help. External gates were locked at night, so best to get their WhatsApp if you know you will be returning late.

"The best homestay I’ve been in, would recommend and will definitely be back!"

The best part about Sunset Cabana are the hosts! Such a welcoming and beautiful family who are ready to help with anything. The breakfast was unbeliavable and obviously made by Mama herself. The room is big and has a stunning view to the ocean and the house is located right on the beach.

AC would be nice, but with the breeze coming from the sea and the ceiling fan, it actually was quite perfect.

The view of sea from the terrace so beautiful. Hosts and family members so kind and ready to help .she gave us free evening tea and home made food so delicious.15min main bus & train station .

WiFi little bit slow. There is no cabinet or hangers to put our clothes.

It was a fantastic experience staying in Sunset Cabana! You feel welcome from the first moment on. The whole family is very nice and helpful but especially the lady of the house is truly a sunshine. Not only the real sri lankan food she prepares is delicious but also the travel information she gives you, her helping hand in whatever you need, personal advice and talks. The rooms are very clean, the bed comfortable and the view from the terrace is amazing. If there was a rank of 20, we would definetely give it!! Petra & Xavi
