Leisure Mount Villa

Knusse, fijne homestay met goede sfeer. Nette, schone kamer, goed bed, koffie/theefaciliteiten op de kamer. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaren. Prima ontbijt. Balkon & terras waar het heerlijk is om te zitten met mooi uitzicht over de theeplantages. Redelijk dicht bij centrum. De eigenaar heeft er een auto en bracht ons voor een zeer schappelijke prijs naar de volgende locatie.

De oppervlakte van de ruimte op Booking klopt niet. Kamer + badkamer samen zijn niet zo groot: ca 12m2.

We had an excellent stay in this hotel. The rooms were nice and clean, breakfast was vast and excellent, as well as all other food we enjoyed. The location and the views are astonishing. But fist and foremost, it was the manager Hashan and his mother Chitra who made us feel very welcome. Though not advertised, the hotel employs single mothers and young people who normally wouldn't easily find employment. Hashan pays them all an above average salary, so they really can build a future. And they all were friendly and very proficient. Also in many other ways, the hotel helps the local community. There are cooking classes at a very nice small farmhouse at the premises. The money goes to underprivileged children in and around Haputale. The groceries come directly from their own garden. Hashan, like his mother, is very modest about their endeauvors to bring the local society forward.

Pobyt w tym hotelu był prawdziwą przyjemnością. Największym atutem jest przepiękny widok na plantacje herbaty – poranki z taką panoramą są po prostu magiczne. Personel jest niezwykle miły, pomocny i zawsze uśmiechnięty, dzięki czemu od razu można poczuć się jak w domu. Jedzenie bardzo smaczne, świeże i różnorodne – każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Całość tworzy idealne miejsce na odpoczynek i relaks. Zdecydowanie polecam!

It was a gem of a place - we were so glad for the balcony room as the views were absolutely amazing! Super clean and comfortable. They helped us and had great communication. Thank you!
