Leisure Mount Villa

Incredible view, beautiful surroundings (tea plantations). Beautiful public spaces in the hotel, and a well maintained garden. Food is good. We especially liked the curry buffet, which was organised once during our stay (this seemed to depend on the number of guests interested). Staff was helpful, except for the manager.

The hotel manager seems more of a business man than a host. We had booked the economy rooms, and he first showed us the luxury rooms before showing us the substandard, smelly economy rooms. So we opted for the luxury rooms. These were light and beautiful, but the bathrooms were a bit lacking (not very clean, a bit run down, simply no match to the rooms).

Incredible view, peaceful garden and clean and comfortable room. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

We loved our stay here, the whole place is beautifully designed and has the most stunning views of tea field and mountains. The rooms are modern and spacious, with a large comfortable bed and large bathroom. Full length windows allow you to take in the amazing scenery and there is a balcony to relax on. The restaurant serves delicious Sri Lankan food, we had dinner here and it was incredible. The staff are very friendly and helpful and always smiling. The owner/manager is passionate about hospitality and has created a beautiful hotel with a focus on design and service and incorporates the traditions and lives of local village residents on a stunning portrait gallery in the dining room.

We had a wonderful stay here, the staff were incredibly friendly and happy to help - letting us check in early and leave our bags in a safe place so we could continue exploring. It's located right on the 12th stage of the Pekoe Trail, so we did that and explored some other trails locally too. The breakfast was tasty too, with stunning views!

Every thing is perfect. Clean and specious rooms. Location was perfect, near to haputale town. For relax is good seat on the balcony. Freindly staff and owner. Highly recommended.

Breakfast vas very good. The owners are extremely nice and helpful. We got a free upgrade of the room, much appreciated.

Due to mist, we could not enjoy the view from balcony but that’s not Leisure Villa fault :)

The view is spectacular. The best view I've stayed at in haputale. Well located close to town, and adisham monastery. Staff is very helpful and friendly. they are quick to accommodate your requests . They give a big soft blanket to keep you warm at night. We rented the room On the rooftop. Highly recommend this room. Sweeping views of the haputale gap.

Just needs some TLC. The glass doors need to be cleaned. And the locks replaced on these doors. The sink faucet was barely a drizzle, and there were ants nesting in the tile around the sink. Water pressure in shower not that great, but doable, as long as there are no power cuts, then just freezing water to shower with. Should have solar water to alleviate this issue. Time to replace mattress. It sinks in the middle, so you tend to fall into it. Need towel holders in bathroom.. with high winds the side wood doors will rattle, so maybe not the best choice for light sleepers. Lights are flickering and need to be replaced
