Kelum Homestay

The host was so friendly and helpful, and helped us arrange activities and a tuktuk driver (we had to cancel our plans to hike Knuckles mountain due to bad weather, so he helped us find other great things to do in and around Kandy). The location was beautiful- we had views overlooking Kandy, and of the river right near the property. We were able to get into the city really easily ourselves. The bed was comfy and the host let us use the kitchen too, which was great. The rooms were also a really decent size. We also had a great breakfast (that the host's mother made - it was delicious).

The rooms were quite damp and smelled a little damp, and also had a fair few bugs - however, this was because of the heavy rains.

Der Host gab uns wertvolle Tipps für Unternehmungen. Dabei orientierte er sich ohne Aufdringlichkeit an unseren Interessen. Eine sehr angenehme, unterstützende Art des Umgangs.

* sehr netter Besitzer, viel Infos, organisiert TukTuk Fahrer * ruhige Lage, mitten im Grünen, dennoch in 10 Minuten in der Stadt * sehr gutes Wlan * komfortables Bett, etwas dünne Decke

* wenig Abstellfläche * Wände wirken unsauber, Schimmel? * kein Warmasser

Struttura a circa 15 minuti a piedi dalla stazione, in posizione comunque tranquilla. Proprietario molto gentile e simpatico, parla anche un po’ italiano perché ha lavorato in Italia. Camera pulita e bagno comodo.

Great location, beautiful view and staff were so great, low to walk into town etc. arranged advice and help the next day for the best tuk tul driver (sena) who took us to Nuwara Eliya, lovely breakfast!

WiFi sadly didn’t work, but not hosts fault. Otherwise brilliant!
