Great breakfast, very nice host

It is a little bit noisy as the location is right next to the street.

"Little moment of peace and nature 🍃"

10.0

ABSOLUTELY WOULD GO BACK ! The house is lovely, my room had a balcony which was so nice to be able to open the door and hear the water below and the wind in the trees at night. The bed was very comfortable and I had AC. The house shakes a little when a big truck passes by, but honestly it’s not that bad, it’s just the quirk of an old house. The bathrooms are shared which wasn’t an issue even with other guests, even the big shower room was always free when I needed it. There’s a communal room downstairs and a communal balcony too. The host was great, always ready to help if needs be and her breakfast were absolutely delicious 😋 I would have stayed a whole month just to have her cooking on the morning. Be advice it is traditional Japanese breakfast with fish and side dishes. I loved it and couldn’t recommend it enough, such a nice home cook meal to start the day. The location was easy to find, you can walk around to see multiple temples and shrines. There’s a street with street foods and restaurant 15 min walk away which I was on every night 😊 it was very easy to get to the seaside from Kamakura station and than to take the electric “classic” tramway. Just be aware that a lot of commerce and the railway close early, so planned your day accordingly. All in all I spent a lovely weekend at the B&B and would gladly go back again.

Nothing, absolutely nothing.

"Feel at home in Kamakura"

10.0

Very classy, warm, enthusiastic & knowledgeable host with a big heart. Breakfasts were absolutely gourmet with the best miso in Japan. Very clean, comfortable & cheery. Near some main sights & bus stop but not in the middle of tourist chaos.

Main road can be tricky to walk & old house shakes a bit as big vehicles go by.

"Wonderful stay in Kamakura if you are okay with a 15 minute ride into/from main part of town."

10.0

Comfortable beds and linens, cold air conditioner, several shared toilets for guest use, delicious home cooked Japanese style breakfast served on back patio overlooking a stream with fish.

Walking from bus to bed and breakfast requires walking along a street with little or no sidewalk. Drives do seem very familiar and cautious of pedestrians though.

"Real Japan"

8.0

Host, breakfast and location were all great. Bed was comfortable and the room had air conditioning

You could class this as a little bit difficult to get to but I also see that as a positive as the Kamakura area is beautiful. The room was quite small which is fine for me but might not be for others
