Canjahawon Nipa Hut Homestay

The staff were excellent. Very nice place to chill and have a little social interaction. Great spot in the mountains with easy access to the Cantabon cave..also a MUST while there. I enjoyed playing music with the staff and sharing stories.. definitely recommend this place.... TIP...... bring your own alcohol if needed... And groceries for cooking...hut #9 had a fridge and cooktop with a sink. The menu is good but very limited... NO MEAT AT ALL! Even in the little town nearby we found the last piece of frozen chicken.

No signage at the entrance.. a bit tricky to find the reception/restaurant area. Menu was limited but ok.

Het eten was echt heerlijk! En de rust die er heerste was ook heerlijk. En hele lieve mensen.

Het bed was niet heel comfortabel. En het uitzicht waar iedereen het in de beoordelingen over heeft viel ook wel mee.

Magical place as long as you don’t mind big geckos, spiders and ants in your room : You are up in the nature. So relaxing. The staff members are the best people ever, don’t forget to try their home made hot chocolate! The twin room has less light then the other ones, the queen room is absolutely gorgeous & the budget room is also gorgeous

A great hotel immersed in the jungle, with single bungalows in a tree-house style. The rooms are spacious, full of natural light, and very simple in a good way. The bathroom is basic, and the balcony is a net where you can literally hang over the jungle, surrounded by greenery and its sounds — a truly relaxing experience. The staff is super accommodating, always kind and helpful. Special shout-out to Israel, the chef, who cooked us the best grilled fish of our lives.

Having lots of animals around may disturb your sleep, and you have to share your room with ants. Chickens may also drop by from time to time. The road leading to the property is damaged and can be very slippery when it rains, so it’s not the easiest place to reach.

Expérience bien dans la jungle

Attention à louez un scooter AVANT d’y venir car nous nous sommes retrouvés bloqués pendant 24h car plus de scooter disponible à l’hôtel. Avec aucun réseaux donc impossible de se déplacer. Gros point négatif, même le tuktuk qui nous a amené s’est perdu, il a fallu finir le trajet à pied.
