You can watch the sunrise and star gaze right outside your room balcony. The hosts were really friendly and personable. He helped us took many great photos too! He also made great recommendations on how we can plan our day as we were unfamiliar with the place.

"Really a gem of a hotel."

This is a charming hotel, very nicely decorated, with very helpful staff. The owner, Mr. Lin, and his daughter were extremely helpful to us when we were trying to figure out whether the road through Taroko gorge was open. The breakfast was outstanding and elegantly presented.

The Wi-Fi was a bit spotty and slow but worked.
