"Lovely, friendly and clean homestay!"

Lovely clean homestay with spacious room. The family were so friendly and welcoming, checking in with me everyday. I was shown around the island when I arrived by the owners grandson who gave me great surfing lessons! The owner also gave fruit in the morning on day and borrowed me a bicycle to get around. I will definitely return to Batukarus and this homestay. Thank you

the hosts are so lovely always cheked on us if everything is oke great outodoor kitchen to use arti their grandson is just an amazing guy, he provided us with a great scooter and good surfboards and was always available for further questions

"Cute, but has roaches"

the couple who owns the homestay are wonderful. They are very kind, attentive and helpful. nice little outdoor kitchen with stove and hot water.

Our bungalow had a problem with cockroaches that kept waking us up at night and crawled on us. There were mosquitos in the room but no mosquito nets. The double bed in the room was very uncomfortable and hot, so my partner and I squished together on the twin bed. We left one night early to switch to another place because we weren’t comfortable with the beds or the amount of bugs.

Everything was perfect, the older couple din't speak English, but were so incredibly nice. Their grandson showed us the area and we could also rent a scooter and surfboard for a very good price from him. When it was time to leave again, they even brought us to the terminal. 100% recommended.

everything is perfect super clean extremely warm hosts lovely room and nice outdoor sitting area I would have stayed longer if my visa wasn’t expiring soon
