"A beautiful homestay and taste of Nepali culture"

Wonderful host family who made us feel immediately welcome. Our friend recommended Raj, Kriti and family as a lovely homestay to be based in in Bhaktapur and it was a great stay - would definitely love to visit and stay again. Delicious home cooked breakfasts and some evening meals too. Was lovely to socialise with the family and other guests too. A light vegetable soup that Kriti made was one of my favourite things I ate during my 2 week trip to Nepal! Raj took us around Bhaktapur to see the main sights and we also enjoyed a forest walk with Raj and Kriti. The room was large and quiet, the shower was powerful, and there was a great roof terrace we could venture up to as well. We felt really lucky to be staying during the Nepali new year and Mother’s Day and it was so nice to be included in the celebrations.

Very nice, clean, and modern. The family is really nice. Needed a place for the night before my hike to nagarkot the next day and it was great.

Location can be a downside if you just want to go to bhaktapur dubar square, but if you’re like me and don’t plan on it then staying here is great because you avoid paying the 1800npr fee to just enter the city. On a bit of a hill but the view from the top floors is amazing.

Lovely family, spotless room and great food. I was made to feel welcome and part of the family. Nice quiet location.

I really didn't mind personally but it can be a 25 minute walk to Durbar square if you like things a little nearer, also it can be a little difficult to find.

Wonderful hosts Beautiful home Less touristy area Fyi, Google maps didn't have good directions for getting here but Maps.me did

Could hear dogs barking at night, might want ear plugs if you're a light sleeper
