Absolutely nothing

What an accommodating lovely hosts. Hayley and Nicholas made my stay perfectly fit my needs with an early check-in and early check out. A luxury is that they arranging dishes for you. Very good communication and in my view to many complimentary goodies for the accommodation price. Location just after 2nd Avenue with all nice restaurants is a bonus. Walking distance to supermarket to arrange breakfast.

Please note the room is a bit small, and during high summer, it is a bit warm, but you can sit lovely outside under the umbrella, and there is a fan.

Loved the peace and quiet. Unit was very clean and felt like home. Host was very friendly. Lovely people. I will definitely be back.

Recommended, especially for those with a longer stay. The area is very safe and while not in the centre of Cape Town, it´s not far from there by car or Uber. The hosts were wonderful, took care of the room once a week, and greeted me with a bottle of wine in my fridge. You can relax in the front garden, next to the room door. Most importantly however: The house has its own power supply through solar panels, which means you are not affected by the regular power cuts ("load shedding") affecting South Africa. Cannot emphasize this point enough, since it is not self-evident. So save yourself a lot of hassle.

Decent room size (I was alone), comfortable bed, clean, good WiFi connection and very calm area. The location is great for me, with safe parking. Several restaurants are within a 2-minute walking distance. The hosts were very friendly.

The location is very central which suited us. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly and the cat was an absolute pleasure. Also solar energy meant no load shedding during our stay.

We found it a bit cramped for a stay of this length but this was not a major issue for us.
