"An outstanding b&b in an attractive location"

We loved the setting, not far from the Benbecula coast, just off the main road up the west side of the island. The upstairs of the house had been designed with guests in mind and, as well as a comfortable en suite bedroom, we were able to use the spacious and well-equipped sitting and kitchen area. It was an easy walk to the Dark Island hotel for an evening meal, and an excellent place for bird watching. Our host, Andrew, was very knowledgeable about local birds and also good places to visit over the next few days.

Everything was excellent and we would have liked to stay more than one night.

A comfortable room on the first floor of a family home, with a shared lounge, encouraging exchange with the other guests. A self catering kitchen with a well-stocked fridge.

Property was a little bit out of the way, but the host sent detailed instructions on how to find them ahead of our stay.

"A must for staying in Benbecula"

The host was warm welcoming and really helpful Accommodation was spacious, clean and comfortable. Food was left in the kitchen for guests to help themselves for breakfast or during their stay. Coop not far away, hotel and bistro for eating out, and white beaches to enjoy

Fine for us but if you are very tall you need to remember the sloping wall above the bed!!
