Near the airport, we used it only for that purpose

Lovely grounds and home. Terrific hostess (friendly, helpful son greeted me and got me settled in). Delicious traditional breakfast and charming kitties. I couldn’t figure out the TV. Instructions would be helpful. There was no hot water for shower. Since I was staying only 1 night it wasn’t a deal breaker. The location was very convenient to the airport. I only wanted a safe, quiet, clean place to sleep at a reasonable cost. This home fit the bill perfectly! I did sleep comfortably so I’m very pleased.

Location and breakfast

The location is perfect for the airport, just a $5 uber ride. The area is quite nice to walk around for San Jose standards. The room has a private entrance and access to a shaded terrace at the back of the house. Its quiet at night.

Room is a bit small.

Everything was OK. The host was very friendly and helpful. The only problem was finding the location, because the address is written imprecisely.

Breakfast was good and served on a nice terrace. Conveniently close to the airport. Beautiful home with ample parking.

Clean, modern, lots of common space. Not too hard to find but there’s another ‘Garden House’ listed very close by which confused our taxi driver on the way in

No kitchenette facilities to make a coffee or microwave anything. On the way out of the country we stayed here again, having enjoyed a good breakfast at that time, and after checking out of our previous spot as late as possible we arrived just after published check-in time to find we couldn’t get in the gate. Not having wifi or capacity for our usual phone numbers, we found a place to eat with wifi while I contacted the owner on WhatsApp who wasn’t at the venue but would be ready to receive us within another 2 hours. We had to leave very early next morning for our flight out, which was too early for her to provide the breakfast which is included in the stay. We were still too full from eating a lunch late while we waited to get in, so we declined supper as a substitute. She offered to leave access to her kitchen coffeemaker open so we could get coffee first thing-and we found in the morning that was locked, which I understand, because it’s entry to her house. There’s not enough room in the actual guest bedroom for a kitchen station but there is an area where her fridge and laundry area is which could be set up for that type of facility which would get around that sort of thing.
