Garden House

The Garden Room was great. It’s very close to the airport. Clean and comfortable. Your little own space for unwind and rest during a long layover or overnight stay. Monica is amazing. A nice breakfast and good conversation. Loved it!

A little bit difficult to locate when arriving. Once you know it, can’t get lost.

Think the description on Booking.com should state that it's a private house or the house have a little sign saying Garden Room. We thought our map app had taken us to the wrong place and had to knock on a couple of doors.

It was just what I needed, a clean room w good facilities near the airport before starting my trip the next day. Our flight was delayed by several hours but the staff waited for me even though I got in after 12am.

If you are travelling to or from the airport you must stay at the garden room. The room is incredibly comfortable and the owner exceedingly kind. It felt like a home away from home. Also, the area is safe (even for women traveling alone) and there are restaurants close by. The host is very kind and makes a delicious Costa Rican breakfast. I highly recommend this place. It is a perfect place to start or end your trip.

the taxi had trouble finding it from the airport, so maybe more clear directions on the website!
