Park View

Everything! Such a lovely place to stay. Huge room, comfy bed and pillows - great sleep, beautifully decorated, quiet, fridge, snacks, tea and coffee, free bottled water, kettle, iron, hot shower, good WiFi, felt safe. Easy 5 minute walk to bus (#404) to city (10 minutes). Cafe 2 doors down. The owner Ger is very helpful and friendly. I’d definitely stay here again!

It was a very quick and short bus trip to the city which made it an affordable accommodation not too far away (in travel time) from the city. Very clean and friendly residents.

A bit far from the city center

- The accomodation was fairly quiet, it is also located residential zone, so no traffic noise or other - Parking was easy & free - iron and Ironing board provided - Lots of snacks and drinks as goodies (which we didn't take though)

- The room was, as far as I can tell, part of their private home. The hosts own a dog, which was introduced to us shortly after we arrived. However, the owners headed out and left the dog alone at home. During that time the dog was constantly howling and yapping for their owners to return. That was all fine, but when we wanted to also leave the house, the dog was barking and growling at us. It turned out all fine in the end, but I was really stressed out, because I don't feel safe around dogs. - the room was really due for a vaccuum. The floors of the room very insanely dusty. - Also, I get that it safes space to install a wet room, but it is just highly inconvenient

the host Ger is very welcoming, the location is close to Galway university, its very handly for anyone attending a conference

We liked the location in relation to accessing surrounds, the bedroom space, newness, and having a fridge.

We did not like the combined shower, toilet and basin: after a shower the whole area was flooded! We didn’t have any toilet paper until the following morning after two request messages. We did not even meet our host: personal face:face contact makes a huge difference! “Park View” was totally stretching it…the grassed area/park was not visible from our apartment!

Large room, walk in wardrobe area, kit Kats and water supplied, with fridge and tea, coffee. Ideal location for a wedding in the Glenlo

Fridge makes a lot of noise, view out the window could do with a pop of colour
