Rocky Rest

Very friendly hosts,felt very comfortable. Bedroom and bathroom were spotless. All the facilities were great.

The bedroom was a bit crowded with niceties. But in saying that,the longer you stay the more comfortable it got.

Location was quiet but convenient to Orange CBD by car. Lovely garden setting and the continental breakfast was very good. The hosts Peter and Sally were most helpful and generous providing a rug for the tiled floor due to my wife Sally's cold feet as Orange was -3 deg C. and placed extra mirrors at a lower level for her short stature ! Stayed two nights and happy to return again. Hosts were terrific.

Wished we had stayed longer.

The hosts, Pete and Sally were both very warm, welcoming and helpful. The accommodation I paid for included a large bedroom with a queen bed and a separate living room with a single bed, two chairs, a small table and television. Both rooms looked onto the rocky rear garden. The bed was very comfortable and warm and this room had air-conditioning. There was another room comprising the laundry with a small fridge and microwave with a bathroom off the laundry. A continental breakfast was offered upstairs in the main house by the hosts. I had brought my own breakfast items.

The bathroom felt drafty as it doesn't have its own door to close it off. This is partly compensated for by electric wall heater. I can't sleep with the sound and movement of air conditioning and attempted to switch it off before going to bed. I later learnt to hold the remote close to the air conditioning unit to turn the unit off then there was peace and quiet...

Peter & Sally were very welcoming and kind.

It's just too expensive for what it offers, in my opinion.
