Buccleuch Garden Room

One of the most comfortable beds in Scotland

Room was lovely. The owners (or whoever was managing the room) were happy for us to park there before checking in and after checking out which made life easier. It’s a short walk to the town centre.

It was a little cold overnight (I will say I feel the cold more than most)

Lovely accommodation, just perfect for a solo traveller as it was an easy walk into the town. Lots of extra little homely touches. Basically everything you'd need for a really excellent short stay :)

Super cozy and location is amazing. Bathroom was also clean and updated but small.

Beautifully appointed room with lots of little extras and great attention to detail. Very close to the centre and yet private and quiet. A great night's sleep.

Well appointed and well located. Spacious for the price, very clean, shower with good water pressure and comfortable bed. Walkable to town in about 10 minutes on a sidewalk along the road. Situated in a pretty spot along the waterfront road. Instructions and access were clear and easy.

There was a small leak around the towel warmer in the bathroom. The shower lacked any place to position soaps and shampoos other than the floor. A few hooks in the bathroom for towels and toiletry bags would be welcome. Minor suggested improvements on a great little stay.
