Tereng Wilis bungalows

Feels very home-like and the hosts are very nice! Loved staying here! It‘s close to some waterfalls and Mt Rinjani, otherwise very far away from anything. Very good food served.

Not really anything around the property like restaurants or shops.

Very friendly host family - we arrived in the rain and they helped us unpack and were so welcoming. Beautiful setting with views over rice paddies and up to the mountains.

I had very good time at Tereng Wilis Bungalows! It is directly connected to the ricefields, the hosting family is very kind, the food is delicious, Eddy and his friend Aryou were taking me to the dschungel/villages in the area, we spent the evenings with bonfire and guitar. What else? Fresh coconut, music and good atmosphere, it’s possible to rent a scooter… - I highly recommend it.

The hosts were really nice with us! We had a really good time with Eddy and Aryo, they took us everyday around and it was pretty beautiful and fun!

The only problem is that you will be awakened everyday at 4:30 because it seems like the mosque speaker is inside the room.

Me and friend of mine stayed here for 2 nights. The place is located in the middle of rice fields, and the place is absolutely stunning for someone who enjoys nature and love’s adventures. If you’re planning to hike up to the volcano, this is excellent location. It is also amazing location for exploring local coulture and finding waterfalls. Amazing quides from our hotel played lots’s of cardgames with us, played quitar and sang songs with us around fireplace. They kindly invited us to a local wedding which was very unique experience. We also went to see traditional stick fighting which was very interesting and special. The bungaloo itself was tidy and had everything we needed. There is decent wifi available ( 5000 rp for 12 hours, so basically free). The hoast of the place, a woman, is a worderful cook and I highly recommed to try her chicken curry.

Far from the touristic places, this bungalow will amaze you by the beauty of its rice fields and by its authenticity. Edy is an incredible host who speaks English very well, he will always be there to help you and will always share with you tea 😀. During your stay, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the Indonesian culture.
