Excellent home style stay. Don’t expect a resort but it is a great place to get chilled. Food is excellent. Diving services are also excellent.

Good price. The dive location is great. Diverse marine life in clear water.Minimal rubbish evident.

The refresher dive dive master didn't go over the basics before beginning the dive.

Nowhere nice to sit, only beach chairs to lay. The rest of the tables used for dining and often had everything ready for the next meal

Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff, excellent food.

The bedroom walls paper thin. I could hear nextdoor snor.

The best food on the island! Everything was delicious, we really appreciated the food here and they cooked for all the preferences- vegetarian, pescatarian etc

The upstairs rooms are nice and look like the pictures. The downstairs rooms are like coffins, hot with no AC, a fan mounted on wall too far away to reach you. The only window has fumes from generator. Just ask for upstairs and its a very good deal.

The food was great, we liked everything very much! Well organized trips - diving, snorkeling.

The location is great for snorkeling as you have an excelent reef at the end of the jetty. The cookers (Tina & Mei) are super kind. For the prices in Bunaken it's quite cheap (choose the all included option!)

The people were very friendly, especially the two ladies who prepared the food. The room was spacious. It had an entree to the (shared) patio with a view. The meals were good.

The water in the shower and tap was salty. The room doesn’t cool down without airco on. Only one window in the room.

When we arrived we asked for open water diving course and refreshment course which is the main reason to visit Bunaken. But it didn’t feel like they were interested in us, we constantly asked when it was possible and got answers like “maybe today, maybe tomorrow… maybe in two days” but we were there for 5 days so we asked another dive club because it felt like they had no time for us. After they were dissapointed that we canceled the diving with them and they treated us different and not friendly. If they told us there were spots to dive from the beginning of course we would dive with them but if you get an unorganized feeling + answers where they’re not sure when we took initiative to plan somewhere else where they were more than happy to dive with us. Communication with them afterwords was very curtly with us unfortunately we did not have a good feeling. There’s an extra fee for airco which is 100K per day. I understand there’s an additional cost but it’s expensive and the rooms on the first floor get really really hot. So hot that the fan just has no effect. We paid almost 30€ per night for this Homestay so I do think it’s already expensive enough. Water in the bathroom smells really bad. Luckily we brought our own filter.
