Tara House

The staff are great, the cabin is comfortable, near main roads with lots of cafes, restaurants, even a gym. I can't have wheat, they accommodated me just having eggs, fruit and veg. I was worried about no air conditioning but it wasn't a problem.

Our host was very nice, always smiling. We stayed 5 nights here, the room was perfect. Like on the add, we had hot shower, WiFi, confortable bed. The breakfast was good and always on time. Tara house is close to the Main Street, and close to Sekar Sari kitchen (2min walk) perfect to eat Indonesian food for good price.

Fantastic host, place with a very nice atmosphere and close to everything you need. Better than the 4 and 5 star hotels that I stayed in Ubud before.

The host adjusted the breakfast requirements based on specific food allergies.

The most friendly and sweet family owns this place. Always a smile for you. The rooms are spotless clean and very comfortable, next to their huge temple. Very comfy bed also. Breakfast was really great and they bring it to your balcony, you can choose the dish and your favorite time.

Well, this is not the fault of the owners but I had some noisy neighbors 😅 as in many balinese houses the wall to the outside isn't completely closed so depending how sensitive you are you could also here some roosters. But that's common in Indonesia and nothing that minors the great experience I was having staying there

I really enjoyed my stay here and wanted to stay longer, but it was fully booked. The location is quiet but central and the host and his family are super kind. The breakfast was also prepared with great care. Everytime I entered the house I was met with a great smile and I was really happy to be there.

I would say if you are with two and both have a lot of luggage this may not be the room for you, since there is no closet space. I was alone so it was perfect and could just keep my luggage next to the bed.
