Tara House

Madi and his family are such a humble and kind family. I felt like I’m staying with my family. They took care of me and answered any questions I had right away. I had a great stay at Tara House. Overall I’m happy to stay at Tara House and will def come back in the future whenever I visit Bali. The location is also amazing. Within less than 10 min walk you are in central ubud near by so many restaurants, markets, atms, etc.

I just wish the internet was a little more stable. It didn’t matter much because I had my own data

The manager was incredibly accommodating, even prepared me a vegan breakfast although I told him not to bother. Everyone was very kind and I loved sitting on the terrace in the garden. Coffee and tea are provided. 5-6 min from the main street.

The bedsheets had some stains. The hot water wasn’t hot, just warm. Might be an Ubud thing.

This accommodation was perfect, clean, in an excellent location but still quiet, the breakfast was delicious and the owner and his family so friendly, I felt very safe here. I wish I could have stayed longer!

My stay at Tara House homestay was short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality and serene atmosphere made us feel right at home. The rooms were clean, cozy and beautifully designed, blending traditional Balinese charm with modern comforts. The location was perfect—peaceful yet close enough to explore Bali’s vibrant culture and stunning landscapes. The owner and his family went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, offering great recommendations and making our vacation truly memorable. I would love to return on my next trip to Bali!

Very quiet area but near to the centre. The owners were so polite and friendly.. The sheets wasn’t so freshly washed and there was a fan than aircondition but was ok. I would coming again!

Everything was perfect. Rustic, just 2 cabins set in a lovely garden. The whole property was totally authentic and our host was so helpful and attentive. The room was cleaned every day and was always spotless. Breakfast was tasty and served on our terrace, and there was always a flask of hot water for us to make our own hot drinks. The location was perfect for the town centre and all the sights, yet was completely quiet and peaceful, set in a small street off the main road. Lovely place and lovely family.
