Nous avons tout adoré !! La maison traditionnelle est magnifique avec en plus une touche cozy et une très jolie déco qui rend le séjour très agréable et confortable. Mais c'est surtout l'accueil de Meyske et David que nous avons adoré ! Meyske nous a reçus avec beaucoup d'attention. Elle - et sa maman -est une excellente cuisinière... et surtout une guide hors pair ! 5 jours extraordinaires passés à ses côtés à arpenter en scooter les sites importants de la culture Toraja, à l'écouter nous expliquer l'histoire de son peuple, à découvrir les rituels, à nous faire partager son savoir et son enthousiasme.... Meyske est heureuse de transmettre et cela se ressent...Une expérience fabuleuse ! Merci Meyske 🤗🤗

I really loved fhe cosy vibe of the accomodation, it felt like home straight away! Also Meyske and her mother and David are very kind, sweet and helpful so that makes it feel even more like a home! The food was amazing, seriously one of the best meals I had in Indonesia!!

If you don’t have scooter it’s a 50min/1 hour walk to Rante Pao centre. For me that’s doable but if you don’t have your own transport it’s something to think about. Ofcourse Meyske will help you with the transport if you want!

We like family of this homestay - very friendly people. Common area is confortable. Shared bathroom is really nice and clean. Food was delicuous. Good location.

Wir haben uns in dem gemütlichen, traditionellem Homestay sehr wohl gefühlt. Meyske ist eine tolle, herzliche Gastgeberin und kann einem als Guide die Kultur in Toraja hervorragend nahebringen. Sie hat sich um alles gekümmert und nicht nur unseren Aufenthalt in ihrem Haus zu einem Erlebnis gemacht, sondern uns auch darüberhinaus sehr geholfen.

Slechte prijs kwaliteit wanneer je geen tours gaat doen, zeker wanneer je alleen bent.

Der Aufenthalt im Homestay war einfach nur toll ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und man bekommt das Gefühl das mein ein Teil der Familie wird und wenn man in Kombination noch lernt wie die Kultur lebt dann ist es einfach nur besonders es hier in dem homestay zu erleben. Weil man das Gefühl bekommt in die Kultur einzutauchen und das ist in meinem Augen sehr besonders gewesen.ich würde jederzeit wieder her kommen⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Overall, i had an amazing experience here. Although Meyske was not in the country during my stay, she went above and beyond to be present and to guide me through my journey in Toraja. She really listened to what i wanted to get out of my trip and in doing so, she has a remarkable talent in translating my preferences into activities that were so spot on to my likings. She embodies her culture and has a deep respect for human life and different cultures and can easily let differences stand next to each other. From the moment i booked to my presence at her house to the very moment i arrived on my next destination, she took care of everything I asked for and more. I was with her lovely mom, who made great breakfast and even better dinner, but who also has such a big and welcoming heart. I felt so at peace arriving there. Even the cold shower turned out to be a renewing experience, since the bathroom has a very clear and green vibe to it. The room was very okay, , with no window, and even that was how it was suppose to be or at least it gave that feeling 😊. The location is a bit outside the centre of rantepau (not much much), and being alone and not really driving a scooter, made that a bit difficult, but also there, Meyske helped me a lot with other options that made it possible for me to go into town easily. Should I ever go back to Toraja, i would defintitely go back to stay at this place where home suddenly didnt feel far away.
