INWe had a lovely 2-days stay at this homestay and truly felt at home. Aunty is incredibly warm and kind, always making sure we were comfortable. Her home-cooked meals were absolutely simple yet so delicious. Caretaker dada is also very sweet and attentive, ensuring all our needs were taken care of with a smile. The room was clean, hygienic, and well-maintained. The location is great too, with close proximity to the market area and bus stand, which made commuting really convenient. The homestay is set in a calm and peaceful environment, ideal for some quiet downtime.
INThe room was clean and very comfortable. And the best part of this property was the owner ,she is very sweet ,she took care of me like a child as I was travelling alone and also she offered me very delicious homecooked meals. I totally loved this stay and I would recommend others to try this homestay without a doubt🤗

INOur recent stay at Amar Apun Ghar in Jorhat was truly memorable. What I liked the most was the warm and welcoming atmosphere. It felt less like a hotel and more like a home away from home. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly Santana Baa – her affectionate nature and caring hospitality were the cherry on the cake. Every little detail was taken care of with love. The rooms were cozy, the surroundings peaceful, and the delicious, homely food absolutely stole our hearts. It’s rare to find such a perfect blend of comfort, warmth, and authenticity. We truly enjoyed every moment spent there as a family. 🙏🏻🥹❤️
Honestly, everything about our stay was wonderful, but if I had to mention one small area for improvement—it would be the washroom ventilation. The circular open vent, though meant for airflow, felt a bit uncomfortable while bathing, especially with the possibility of someone peeping in from the neighboring property. Also, since there’s no net covering, tiny insects would sometimes come in, which made it slightly inconvenient. A simple, translucent net cover could easily fix this. Other than that, everything was excellent and truly heartwarming.🫶🏻

DEWe had a bamboo room on the rooftop in this guesthouse with a terrace outside with many plant pots and 2 swing chairs. Amazing quiet place. Every morning we woke up with bird calls. The host santana is very friendly and does everything for you. Nice family. Great cosy room. We felt very happy here and will come back soon.
