far out from city center but you will probably borrow the bicycle or motorcycle anyway to visit the Banhar villages. there are a few places to eat close by.

One of the best places I have stayed in Vietnam and also one of the cheapest. Bed was big and comfy, it was spotlessly clean and everything worked well.

Cheap and overall good

I booked private room, no one bothered to contact me that private rooms are sold out. They informed me when I arrive, so I was forced to stay in a dorm.

Oh, so nice. Little paradise with an outside area to hang out in a shade of various plants and trees. Lovely host and clean place. Also what I liked a lot was that there are many coffee places and restaurants just next to it. Seems far from the town yet all you need is literally 1 minute walk away.

The fact that the host let me early check in at 5.30am (!!!) is something I'll always be grateful for. Given the hostel's location it's almost a must to have a bicycle or motorbike to move around. So I was very happy when they said I can borrow a bicycle for free! Dorm and bathrooms very clean. Even though the property is on a main road, the rooms/dorms are towards the back of the lot and very peaceful; I didn't even notice traffic noise.

- It's one hour walk from the central bus station and far from everything central in Kon Tum. (See bicycle point in the positives though.) - I could nitpick that the breakfast could have been richer (two buns, 2 eggs, 1 sliced tomato, 1 banana, for 35k)
