The host - Ida - is a very nice person speaking very good English. As travelling with kids we really welcomed the extensive stock of toys and games in the apartment. And the beach in Mattsee is great.

The facilities are an eclectic mix of older staff and IKEA. Bathroom needs some upgrade soon (and Ida is aware of it). The kitchen was acceptably equipped, but suffered from the usual problem of dull knives and the dishwasher was too small to comfortably handle an apartment occupancy of six people. The wifi was unstable, we were hoping to be able to watch the Olympics but the streaming video lagged a lot. We have tried several apartments in Austria and experienced higher quality accommodation for a similar price.

The location was perfect to sighsee Salzburg and spend a few days by the beatiful lake. The apartament was spacious and equipped in everything you need. The view from the windows was amazing.
