Dev Kothi is a 6 room Homestay, not a Hotel. It is located in old town at the base of the fort with fantastic views of the Fort from the rooftop / dining area. Owner and staff are excellent and very welcoming. The area is safe for walking and locals are friendly. Building is authentic but does have some limitations due to age and homestay set up. Beds are comfortable and easy walking to major old town attractions. Overall good value for money.

Whilst our room on the 2nd floor had a great view of the Fort, there were no external windows that opened, meaning no fresh air. The room became very stuffy. and the aircon wasn't working well and condensation drained onto the bathroom floor. The bathroom is also a wetroom set up which means that when the shower is used, the toilet and whole room get wet. In our 3 day stay, our room was not serviced. Overall it is a good place to base yourself for a few days without having to spend a lot of money but dont expect Hotel facilities.

The personnel was very helpful and welcoming. The hotel is well located in the old city. We also had our dinners at the restaurant of the hotel. Excellent food and amazing view of the fort from the terrace. Finally we used services of local guide provided by the hotel who was just great ! We were extremely pleased with our stay.

La hospitalidad de todo el personas fue excelente, se pasaron! Demasiado amable desde el dueño hasta Maji quien nos recibió y también quienes cocinan. La terraza para el desayuno está frente al muro del fuerte, es muy bonita la vista! La pieza maravillosa!! Muy limpio todo!! Nos encanto!! La ubicación también era buena, cerca del mercado, de la Clock tower, y perfecta para perderse entre las calles de Johdpur. Sin duda volveríamos a alojarnos acá, además la calidad relación/precio increíble!!
