Dika Homestay

Wayan and her family are warm, friendly, welcoming, and lovely. Always attentive and ensuring one is happy. Mybcooko g class with Kadek, was so much fun. Because it is a small homestay, it was wonderully personal.

It's a big family, so sometimes the noise level rose above expectations.. But not too bad...

Lovely spacious room and bath with nice view out onto the mountains, big comfortable bed, close to walk from there to shops and restaurants but also into the beautiful countryside. And the lovely host Wayan was there for us in her busy life whenever we needed her.

Wayan - the lady owner was extremely helpful and attentive, providing trip/excursion information & arranging our onward transport to another destination. Our rooms were new (<9 months old), so was clean, with comfortable beds.

The location provided by Booking.com was way off by some 300 or 400m from the exact location! It was much nearer (<100m) to the Y-junction leading to the rice terraces (trekking circuit).

Amazingly kind host, super great breakfast, georgeous room and view! I even had a massage in my room and could rent the host scooter!

Neighbourhood a bit noisy in the morning but otherwise super calm and great area

The host Wayan is the most incredible person. She is the sweetest and most careful person i know! The accomodation was also very nice and clean. I would recommend this to everyone!!

Only thing was that there was no airconditioning but that’s all.

This was such a lovely home stay in Sidemen. I booked the Double Room with Mountain View and it was wonderful. The room is upstairs (there’s only 2 rooms upstairs) and you have your own little private porch area. The room itself was really nice and clean. I had breakfast on the porch every morning. Wayan was a great host— so kind and friendly and went out of her way to get me set up with whatever I needed. I booked the River rafting through the home stay and also the rice terrace walk and both were very good. I’ve been traveling Asia for six months and this was one of my favorite stays. 10/10!

Nothing

I had a wonderful stay at this place. My room was beautiful with a mountain view, very clean, spacious and with a really good smell. There are nice activities to choose from (rice field trekking, weaving etc.) Great breakfast and dinner! Wayan is such a lovely, warm and friendly person. She and her family made me feel so welcome and were super helpful.

Pros: Clean, spacious room with large super modern bathroom. Hot powerful shower, exceptional breakfast, great location for exploring the area as close to Side Rice terraces and lots of Run by the beautiful Waran - nothing was too much trouble. She arranged our tours for white water rafting, she gave my 10 year old daughter a cooking class which she enjoyed.

Cons: furniture to tidy clothes and teas and coffees with kettle but I enjoyed the simplicity of the lodge. Can probably cover everything in 2-3days and you’ll need a scooter if you want to explore further. ATM is far so bring cash with you although Waran will enable you to pay by card +3% charge.
