"Great location, cosy house"

Very cosy, great location right by the train station

Only minor issue was that there was a bit of limescale in the kettle in our room

We had just a one night stay. Nevertheless Jane our hostess was very kind and friendly. Roadside parking was possible nearby. Wifi was available (although the booking.cm page says no).

"Uncomfortable stay due to awkward access to the bathroom."

Comfortable room. Good location.

The host was missing in action. Called twice to ask questions. Phone was not answered and messages not replied to. The bathroom was downstairs at the opposite end of the house. I had to walk through the common areas to use the toilet - very uncomfortable.

Jane is a friendly, kind, hostess who makes her guests very welcome. Her home is charming and well situated to explore a lovely part of the country.

Breakfast was not included in the price.
