Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns bei der Planung unserer Aktivitäten unterstützt und den Transfer organisiert.

The most unique accommodation, a beautiful wooden cabin on a road just 5min walk to the main street. Lots of nature sounds, surrounded by lovely greenery. Air con was excellent to have as well as a fridge to keep water cold. The pool was such a treat to have, which we used once a day as a lovely way to cool down. The breakfast was tasty and our hosts kindly cooked us dinner on three of the nights which was delicious. Really lovely and attentive hosts, who also recommended some great activities to do whilst here - providing transport to and from. Comfy bed and mosquito net was great to have.

Nothing we didn't like. Would recommend ear plugs if a very light sleeper (animals and bird sounds in the night and early morning wake up calls!) which we had and were fine sleeping once we used them.

Tenia piscina

Las fotos eran solo de la cabaña de madera y no de las habitaciones. No tenían espacio para colgar o poner la maleta salvo un taburete para 2 personas. El chasco solo es porque la foto salía siempre la casa de madera aunque nosotras reservamos cuarto y sin AC, tenía un ventilador.

Все було супер, власники житла дуже чуйні і багато з чим допомогли нам!) Дуже рекомендую :)

The owner and his wife were fantastic and helped organise an amazing Safari. It is in a very quiet location with wildlife all around. We saw lots of monkeys and hundreds of butterflies from our balcony. The pool was an added bonus in the heat. The breakfast was very good and we were only a short walk from the main town.

After the chaos of Colombo escaping to this amazing place was absolutely great. This family saved us actually picking us up from a six hour train ride. The location is a short little walk to the shops. I got my SIM from there, it was easy, just remember to have your passport. The couple made us a lovely welcoming drink and additionally the breakfast was both filling and tasty. I would highly recommend this stay.

There is absolutely nothing that I didn't like.

We enjoyed a 3-night stay in the wood cabin. Everything was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning, shower and Wifi all worked well. The swimming pool was nice. The host family very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was acceptable. Location was convenient for hiring a driver to visit Sigariya and Polonnaruwa and, within walking distance from the homestay, were many restaurants, supermarket and pharmacy.
