Incredibly clean, super friendly host, super quiet

This is a hidden gem and it's our wish more people will discover it. The owners Ana and her husband knows how to welcome people and treat them as their own. Wonderful place to relax and feel pampered. Loved it. Muito Obrigad Ana

When we arrived for our five night stay we were greeted by the owners William and Anna who were so welcoming and friendly, lovely people. We stayed in the annex at the far end of the beautiful gardens surrounding the lovely swimming pool. The accommodation was very comfortable and provided us with everything we required for a self catering stay. The area enabled us to travel by car and public transport to visit all the sites i.e. Mafra, Sintra and Lisbon. What we enjoyed was the fact we could go visit these places but had a great place to come back to and relax, it was lovely and quiet. Big bonus was Anna baked us little treats each morning, wonderful. Highly recommend. Thanks to you both for a great stay. Ian and Steff.

I liked everything about it, very tranquil location slightly off the mainstream track just the way I like it. Perfect for a solo traveler or couple. Supermarket about 10 minute walk down the road and I could cook myself due to a kitchen and facilities. Hosts are very welcoming, friendly and are big animal lovers. Its like a mini zoo, Carp pond, cats, parrot, budgies, tortoise and frogs. The parrot is awesome and with the added bonus of a swimming pool.

I didn't like the fact I should have booked myself in for a longer stay.

Everything. Without asking where even offered the possibility of a late check-out or checking out of the room but still using the services such as the pool.

No Do not Disturb Signs to put on the door if we don’t want cleaning service, it was ok anyway.

The hosts were super kind. You can reach the place by public transport from Lisbon easily.
