Amtoudi Aventure

Location was amazing if you are looking for an adventure. There is a lot to see with optional walks, light hikes around the place with a beautiful canyon, fortresses. The owner can prepare your meal ( which was very good) for the time that suits you. Their english wasn't great, but they were well able to communicate trough google translate.

Aisha and Hassan are really accomodating and always checked in on how I was doing! Very sweet family and was so nice to stay in a typical home in Amtoudi. Definitely recommend, the area is so beautiful and secluded.

I loved my stay, the only thing I’d mention is I ended up spending more than I thought I would. The meals cost 100MAD per person which is more than I expected, so just keep that in mind. If I knew this I would have packed some of my own food to have throughout the day. The property directions on maps are wrong, took me some time to find the house but with help of locals I managed!

Overpriced. Prices of accomodation and specially food are not in line with the quality and comfort offered. Accomodation and food are very basic.

Really good Family Host in the Berber Desert South from Marrakech. Hospitality is a rule, dinner to pay but available (Tajin/Cous Cous). Lot of trail hiking available around the village. Room with comfort, Wifi perfect for a place so far away.

It was a good location with fairly good food. The owner provides a guide service to the sites.

Be prepared for the final bill to be more than you expect.

Home stay with a family was a good experience. Not being able to communicate was not good.

The property was not marked. My driver had to do several phone calls and personal inquiries to find the guesthouse

The hosts (and their family) were wonderful. The food was excellent. It was close to the path to the fortified granary.

The position on Google Maps is completely incorrect, and so it was difficult to find. Villagers also did not know of its existence, so couldn't direct us there. There is absolutely no signage to assist either (and none on the building itself, to let you know you have found the right place). To get there, proceed along the road on the right hand side of the riverbed, cross over the riverbed where the road turns sharp left, and then turn sharp right. Where the road splits, head left, and then sharp left again, and proceed until the road runs out - the hotel is directly ahead. The bathroom was shared with other guests, and therefore should have received regular cleaning. The bathroom door didn't close easily. There was no toilet paper when we arrived. There were no towels (bring your own).
