"I’d always wanted to stay in a log cottage and this one was perfect"

So relaxing sitting in the deck watching the beautiful view and then sitting cosy by the fire, made up all ready to light

Wifi was not so good but I hotspot anyway

"We had a really lovely time, in this cute little cottage."

Locations was beautiful as was the log cabin itself. There was games for the kids and a BBQ for dad. Lovely welcome package. Masterton was just around the corner. The little fire heated the place almost too well.

Having to boil water was a drag. The BBQ was filthy and the cleaning equipment didnt really work for it. Regulating the temperature in the cabin was hard, sweating going to bed and cold in the morning. No dishwasher was tricky. Access upstairs was tricky especially in the middle of the night.

Characterful cottage. Great location. Fabulous views. Very well equipped. Delightful outdoor seating from which to enjoy the surroundings.

The steps up to the bedroom are very steep, narrow at the top, and with no continuous handrail.
