Location, it’s 500 mt from the center. The room was beautiful, historical place in really good condition. Breakfast so delicious! Extremely recommended

Super cosy! It’s like staying in someone’s house, I loved it so much. Beautiful space outside to meet people. Breakfast was great, and the owner was lovely.

Only one bathroom meant waiting every now and then but not a huge issue! Little walk away from main centre.

A very kind owner who speaks and understands fair amount of English. I had the private room with a private bathroom (thank God). I saw the shared bathroom facilities and oof yeah, no thanks! No issue with shower hot water. Very friendly people staying in the hostel section, so good place to meet others and swap tips. Quiet at night, which is good bc the room is right outside a dining table and meeting point. WiFi is as decent and allowed me to even video work remotely.

The location isn’t great IMO for eating out at night. It’s VERY residential. Whilst it’s only a 15 minute walk to Shah-I-Zinda and about 20-25 to Registan, it’s much farther to say the Amir Temir mausoleum. This is more problematic for dinner time so if you’re out sightseeing all day, it’s a pain to return and rest and then head out. Personally I would stay around Registan next time. Also the light in the dining area is very very bright through the flimsy curtains in the room. Wear an eye mask! I slept well all nights with it. There is no soundproofing to that table outside so hopefully you won’t have loud or obnoxious guests staying. Also the owner didn’t answer his phone when I called on arrival as the pension is in a back alley. He also didn’t do it for another guest I saw waiting. So beware on arriving in the middle of the day as no one is around. The outer wall has a latched door to enter and exit which I found annoying.

Old historic house, lovely atmosphere, lovely family run businness.

Toilet could be cleaned more often. Bed frames should be adjusted as they are very squeaky, so to not wake people up every time you move. Maybe check that mattresses are all in good conditions too.

Very comfortable place, with special climat, everything is clean, beds are very cozy, owner is very nice person, he speak Russian and English as Well. I recommend it for everyone
