Near centre in a nice area. The host was very helpful and friendly.

Check out was a bit early at 9 am.

The owner told me off for having a big suitcase despite me contacting him before to advise. Because he is on the 5th floor with no lift. He then complained he hurt his back because he wouldn't carry the suitcase with me in a sensible way. And continued to tell me off all the way up the stairs (in Spanish). There is not WiFi in the property as stated it's mobile data if the owner is at home. Even though I also messaged in advance asking about a desk as I had to work.

The room was very comfortable with plenty of amenities. The property owner was very friendly and accommodating, even when neither of us spoke the same language. The location was only a short and pleasant walk to the city centre. Very secure flat, and quiet neighbourhood too!

The bathroom needed cleaning the entire time I stayed there. The WiFi was provided through a hotspot via the owner’s phone so the connection wasn’t always very strong, and was only available when he was in the flat, and when he didn’t have it turned off over night. There was a musty smell that lingered in the flat, although this wasn’t an issue in the rooms itself. It would have been helpful to know in advance that the room belongs in the property that the owner lives in too.
