Rinto is the best owner ever! He really deserves what he got! He’s a good soul and wants to see all customers truly happy

When arriving, I was the only one staying there and a construction went on in full swing and noise, cutting the ceramics for the floor of two new rooms. The young guys working there are friendly, smoke a lot and taking care of everything a little bit (while the owner doesn't come that often). At nighttime they like to invite their friends and playing shooter games with the sound full on. Sometimes the Karaoke can be nice. You can possibly organize some trips, but as wake up times for the boys is very late, you should organize that well ahead and be aware to pay a little more than some other operations in the area.

The area in the surrounding and on the way to the beach closely is pretty dirty (plastics all over) and should be cleaned up regularly. No waste separation, so the garbage bins in the accomadationn were thrown around by the dogs every night and some taken to the street, to let me clean it all off the next mornings. (Wake up times for the boys is late, so if you want it nice and clean, then be prepared to clean up yourself.) Cigarette buds are treated as compost, so it is most likely you will find them on the little lawn covering the outdoor area. The owner is not willing to pay back any money, if you explain it doesn't meet your expectations at all.

The homestay was really pleasant place to stay. Rinto is a such a nice guy! Always helping in anything you need. Thank you Rinto!! You are the boss, and the captain of the boat too! 🙏🏼

I think the owner should do a better price deal with the boat transfer to waves if you stay longer.

Good location, good service

Affordable, close to the beach, more of a hostile than a home stay, l'm a older guy and everyone made me feel welcome, close to a couple of beach cafes.

Not the cleanest bathroom, no sink.

I stayed for 3 weeks here and had an amazing time. Rinto and Ahmed we amazing and helped out with everything I needed. It was like a family here and the vibe was amazing. It was the perfect mentawai experience and the waves were amazing.

Power went out on the island a couple of times and was unreliable when it was raining.

Best vibe and Rinto is the man!
