It was a pleasure to stay at iskki-asnnfou. Mohammed and his family welcomed us and made us feel at home right away. The place is lovely, an authentic family house in great location, with a view of the surrounding mountains from the terrace that brings peacefulness as you step in it. Food was also amazing, both breakfast and dinner. The best we’be had so far. unfortunately we could stay only one night but we would definitely come back again. Thanks a lot for having us 🙏!

Cette auberge familiale se situe dans un magnifique village de l’anti atlas, et depuis sa grande terrasse, on a vue sur les montagnes et le coucher du soleil. Cette belle famille nous a accueilli chaleureusement et avec générosité. On y mange divinement bien et les chambres sont très propres. Cet endroit est un petit paradis, et c’est un point central pour aller découvrir tous les paysages et activités de la région de Tafraout.

Geweldige host! Spreekt perfect Engels en de ontvangst was heel hartelijk. Het dakterras was heerlijk om te vertoeven. Geen super de luxe kamer maar dat hoeft voor ons niet. We hadden alles wat we nodig hadden en de vriendelijkheid en gastvrijheid is voor ons het belangrijkste.

's Ochtends is het koud op het dakterras om te ontbijten. Maar de warmte van Saïd maakte veel goed :-)

Pokud chcete se ponořit do tradičního berberského bydlení a vyzkoušet správnou atmosféru klidu a pohodlí, tak to je jednoznačná volba. Majitel ubytování je hodně pohostinný a dělá chutná jídla na snídani a k večeři.

If you like authentic experiences, supporting locals, and exceptional customer service, I highly recommend staying with Mohammed and his family. They have created a lovely little bed and breakfast and we really enjoyed our 2-night stay here! The rooms are simple with exactly what you need and despite pretty cold temperatures it was warm at night (thanks to the thick walls!!). One of the reasons we booked here was because they had heating in the rooms, but we didn't need it! The bathroom is inside the room and separated by a curtain, but for my husband and me it was not a problem. VERY hot water in the shower! We did some day excursions using Iskki Asnfou as a base and it was perfectly situated to explore the area. The food was delicious! Breakfast was one of the best and most complete we had in our week in Morocco. It was also gluten-free friendly (for me!) with omelettes, yogurt, coffee or tea and juice, along with a variety of breads, jams and spreads. I loved that each day they offered us different flavors of yogurt and jams/spreads! Dinner was wonderful- the first night we had a turkey kefta (meatballs) and a vegetable tajine (both delicious!) and the second night since it was Monday, we ordered the sardine kefta - SO good! I truly think the price was fair and very reasonable- what they can't offer in luxury accommodations they offer in kindness, authenticity, home-cooked meals, and exceptional customer service- some of the best we had in our week in Morocco. Thank you for a lovely stay, Mohammed, Ayoub, wife, and rest of the family! If we are ever in Tafraout again, we will definitely be back!

Mohamed, sa femme et leurs 2 garçons nous accueillent dans leur maison familiale dans ce petit village près de Tafraout. La cuisine de Madame est bonne et copieuse et les petits déj. complets et variés : merci pour les oranges fraîchement pressées. Belle vue depuis la terrasse sur le village et la vallée. Quel calme ! Les conseils de Mohamed pour des visites et trajets sont précieux.

Suggestion : 1 table de nuit entre les 2 lits, avec 1 lampe pour lire au lit serait appréciée. En général : Hélas les maisons anciennes (pierre et terre) traditionnelles des villages sont abandonnées et tombent en ruine.

Fijn ontspannen ontvangst met thee en verhalen van de gastheer. Werkelijk de meest heerlijke maaltijd gegeten! De kamers zijn basic en schoon. Fijn om te zijn en te beleven.

Wat een ontzettend gastvrije familie! Je voelt je erg welkom! Het eten is van hoge kwaliteit zowel het ontbijt als het avondeten. Je kunt voor het avondeten zelf uit een aantal verschillende gerechten kiezen. Er is een dakterras met een fantastisch uitzicht op de bergen en op de dadelpalmen. Je kunt er mooie wandelingen maken in de bergen.

Une bien belle adresse ! Nous sommes restés 3 nuits et aurions aimé prolonger ! Un bel accueil familial ! De beaux conseils pour les randonnées ( même des traces GPX!) Une cuisine raffinée ( et même à la carte ) Le Top, la Tajine iskki avec les figues ,pruneaux,raisins ,dattes et tout le reste est exceptionnelle. Bravo la cuisinière ! Et le tout même pour les petits budgets .
