Gamelin

From the moment we arrived we felt so welcomed. When John showed us the view we were blown away and it got better from there. The room was tastefully decorated, comfortable and with everything you could need and want. Both John and Muyuri were really friendly and answered any request we had. Didn’t want to leave the room but so much to do in the area. We were offered fruit and toast to enjoy in our room for breakfast on the first day but there are many restaurants in town just 10 mins walk away. We will be back if there is availability. Just perfect.

Can’t think of a thing apart from sadness at having to leave.

We particularly liked the wonderful view from our room, which was amazing. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and left treats in our room to come back to.

There wasn't anything that we could complain about. It was all wonderful.

Gamelin is just perfect in every way. Charming apartment that is so spacious and comfortable with lots of personal touches to make you feel at home. The private entrance , parking and location are ideal for a visit to Llangollen and the beautiful areas nearby. The views from the apartment are wonderful and so peaceful just to sit and watch the world go by. Mayuri was so welcoming and is a wonderful host without invading our space. Nothing was too much trouble, from our welcoming Prosecco and delicious fruit and extras, to providing local information about where to eat and visit - so lovely. And we also met her gorgeous baby boy too xx We really hope to return and will definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you xx

Everything was so perfect

Lovely place, everything you could hope for. Spotlessly clean, loads of little extra touches, and really friendly hosts. Definitely be back.

Our 3 night stay at Gamelin was perfect. All the little extras a balloon and birthday message and welcome message .Treats were left for us each day. The room was spotless with a very comfy bed and a great shower. The icing on the cake was a fabulous view to watch the sunset . Recommendations for places to eat were tried and ticked all the boxes . Lots of information about places to visit and things to do were available . Our hosts Mayuri and John were so friendly and their home is a credit to them . We would love to visit Llangollen in the future and would not hesitate to stay at Gamelin again . Thank you for making our stay special .

Leaving !

Room has amazing view of the mountainous surrounding and the canal. You are just mesmerised by the view and don’t want to leave your room. Very clean, fresh room and bathroom. Facilities such as iron, fridge are available. Even toothbrush and toothpaste is made available.

The location was perfect, the Gamelin owner was perfect, the view from the room was perfect, the room was perfect it was all perfect.

Very nicely decorated, everything provided to ensure the stay will be as comfortable as possible, hairdryer and tongs provided in a ‘hairdresser’ style rack. Room only but the host offers toast/fruit/porridge for breakfast, complimentary glass of wine on arrival, little treats left in the room each day - location is lovely, large picture windows overlooking the canal basin.

Great location, the accommodation is immaculate, with beautiful views and free parking. The hosts are amazing so kind and welcoming, they go above and beyond. Wouldn’t bother looking anywhere else in Llangollen just book here. We will definitely return.
