The Greenhouse

Ce que l on a fortement apprécié : L accueil de notre hôte, la beauté (et la decoration) de la maison et du jardin. Le charme et l originalité des pièces mises à disposition en plus de la chambre : jardin, salon, terrasse, cuisine...un grand plaisir pour nos derniers jours de vacances en Grande Bretagne.

The Green House is a beautiful home with the bonus of delightful, beautifully planted gardens. With a guest balcony to enjoy it all with a cup of tea or a glass of something chilled, it really is such a tranquil oasis in the city. Melissa was the perfect host from arrival to departure. The rooms and shared spaces are thoughtfully equipped, spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet, and everything is provided to ensure guests are comfortable and well catered for in a beautifully decorated and furnished space. I’ll definitely be booking another stay at The Green House!

On my overnight stay there was nothing about the accommodation which fell short of excellent.

Melissa is enorm gastvrij en vriendelijk. Het hele huis is zo mooi en gezellig ingericht; echt helemaal mijn smaak.

Excellent location as very close to ferry port for our late night arrival. Excellent breakfast choices included. Friendly host. Easy check in and check out.

House number doesn't seem to be on the welcome email or booking details but was given when I requested it on the day of arrival. Towel size could have been bigger for even more luxury.

Very nice and welcoming host. Exceptional house and furnishing and outstanding garden terrace. Lovely breakfast at an inviting community table. Highly recommendable!

Everything. There was nothing to find fault with. Melissa welcomed us into her beautiful home and gave us recommendations of places to go, where to eat and about the local area. The room was comfortable, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and had everything needed, the garden was beautiful. Melissa provided everything for a great breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. We were met on check in, shown where to park and given a tour of the areas we were able to access. All in all, a fabulous stay and we'll definitely be going back.

My daughter and I had a delightful short stay at the beautiful Green House. From Melissa's warm and friendly welcome, we knew we were in for a real treat. The entire stay didn't fail to impress. We loved the gorgeous gardens we had access to during our stay - as a fellow horticulturalist I could really appreciate the lovingly created green oasis in a characterful suburban backdrop. The interior continued the exquisite attention to detail - creative,original and plenty to admire. Our 'Lady Yasmine' room was a joy to stay in; beautifully furnished and containing so many thoughtful touches. The bed was so comfortable and everywhere was exceptionally clean. We also loved the luxurious bathroom which continued the exceptional cleanliness and quirky decor. Our breakfast in the welcoming, comfortable kitchen was a real treat and plentiful. As someone who needs to follow a gluten free diet for health reasons,Melissa took the trouble to find the most flavoursome gluten - free bread; thank you. In short, a fabulously relaxing and perfect stay.😊
