Old House

The family was so nice and welcoming. You really live with the family and share the bathroom and living room with them. The beds were very comfortable & the breakfast was delicious.

Everything was really nice

Fantastic location, stumbling distance from both the fortress and the bus station. This is very much a private family home which has a couple of rooms, it's a homestay rather than a guesthouse. The family were really welcoming and helpful. And it was very good value for money.

The two guest rooms are very simple, in the back of the house. The facilities mentioned in their descriptions are in the house, not the guest rooms. The (family) bathroom is beyond the family kitchen, so be prepared to walk through living room and kitchen wearing a towel! Family members sleep in the living room upstairs which is where the bedroom doors open into, so you'll be creeping past sleeping people if you go to the loo in the night.

This was definitely the best homestay we had after traveling for a whole year!! The family is very kind and generous, and made us feel very welcome to join them in their own livingroom (altough there is also plenty of private space on the floor above). Of course they have hot water, good wifi, comfy beds etc. The location in town is perfect, 3 minutes of walk from the bus station and 5 minutes from the Fort.

Very good breakfast, very friendy familiy!

It is centrally located in the Old City. You can reach the castle in a few minutes by walking. the Guesthouse's location is very good. There are markets and supermarkets around where you can shop. The family that runs the Guesthouse is a very sweet family. They helped us in everything. They saw us not as a customer but as a member of their family. We had a very enjoyable time. The family's wines are delicious. You should try it. One day we will make our way back to this city again, but only to visit the Old House and this sweet family.
