Booked a deluxe room. The only thing that was deluxe was the price. The room was old, worn and tired. The room looked like it had been wallpaper 30 years ago not touched since then. First accommodation I have ever stayed at in Asia that didn’t have complimentary bottled water. No coffee or tea or kettle in the room. Did I say deluxe room?? The room door was 2 meters from checkin desk. Did not enjoy the noise from the coming and going of guests which was accentuated by the paper thin walls. For €45 a night you can find far better places closer to the centre of Butterworth. The proprietor was more focused on making guests take off their foot ware when they came into the reception area and went to their rooms than anything else.

The room and bathroom were clean.. Quiet environment.. Parking provided.. Gated.. The aunty in the front desk was so nice.. Helpful.. Even the workers.. All of them were polite..
