It’s a great location and the staff are all so nice! The breakfast is delicious as well! It felt very safe too and other people who stayed all seemed friendly.

Just be aware that the cheaper room only has a fan, and if you want to use the AC it’s 50K IDR extra a night. It worked out using the fan even though some nights were pretty hot. I was just surprised when I got there and discovered I wasn’t able to use the AC in my room if I didn’t pay extra. I must have missed that in the room descriptions. Also power does go out at least once a week, but it usually doesn’t take long for them to pay and get it back on.

If you’re looking for a good night’s sleep, I’d recommend staying somewhere else... I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but my experience here was very disappointing. Upon arrival, I was shown to the cheapest room, and I honestly could have cried. There was no air conditioning, which made the room unbearably hot, and the bed was so uncomfortable I could feel the springs through the thin material. Fortunately, an upgrade with air conditioning and a proper mattress became available after a few days, so I moved, hoping for a better stay. However, this new room was located right next to the family quarters, as the family lives on-site. I endured several sleepless nights due to the owner playing videos loudly on his phone until 2 a.m. and the women of the family chatting with no effort to keep their voices down until 1 a.m. When I raised my concerns, the owner deflected responsibility, blaming his young daughter instead. The only solution he suggested was for me to move rooms again, rather than simply reducing the noise. Unfortunately, I came down with severe Bali Belly and was too sick to move, so I had to go out in the middle of the night to ask them to keep it down. I was shocked at their inconsideration. My own family runs a B&B, and we would never disturb our guests’ rest—any concerns raised are taken seriously. The only redeeming feature was the presence of some adorable kittens on the property, but I later learned they’d been abandoned, which left an even sourer taste in my mouth. After four months of travel, this was unfortunately one of the least enjoyable parts of my journey. I was genuinely confused by the positive reviews. One night (as they kept me awake), I scrolled through them and noticed that experiences seem to depend on two main factors: 1) the location of your room and 2) your schedule. If you’re out late and sleep in, you might be fine. But if your room is near the family quarters and you’re hoping to get to bed before midnight, good...

The owners was so cute and the breakfast so good

it's a good price and the staff are friendly. the place is far enough fron the main street that there is some peace but close enough that you can easily walk back

the door doesn't close all the way so the room had a lot of insects flying around. made me a little nervous about bites so best to sleep woth insect repellant
