Jane was a lovely host and very accommodating, the place was spotless. The sheets and towels were of a very good quality, the surroundings so peaceful.

So clean and organised. There is a cosy living /dining room area just for guests with little kitchen which makes the stay very comfortable...and a perfect help-yourself breakfast

Host was so kind and went above and beyond to ensure I had a good stay and gave wonderful recommendations about things to do.

The room and shared bathroom were both clean and tidy, with complete facilities. I booked a room included breakfast, and the room was stocked with bread, cereal, milk, and other items, all neatly arranged — it felt really cozy (btw, the oranges were delicious). The bed was extremely comfortable. Hostess is exceptionally thoughtful, even providing reflective vests and flashlight. A truly delightful experience.

If you arrive after dark, be sure to bring a flashlight, as there are very few streetlights on the walk from the station to the house.

Eine wirklich schöne Unterkunft in einem sympathischen Dorf ca. 10 Minuten außerhalb von Galway City. Schon bei der Ankunft bin ich von Jane herzlich begrüßt worden. Sie hatte viele Informationen über die Gegend und Ausflugstipps parat, auf die man von selbst vielleicht nicht gekommen wäre. Auch sonst stand Jane immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Hollybanks liegt angenehm ruhig in einer kleinen Straße oberhalb von Moycullen. Es verbindet wunderbar die Vorteile eines B&B und einer Selbstversorgerunterkunft. Brot, Obst, Saft, Wasser, Milch und Joghurt werden gestellt und täglich nach Bedarf von Jane wieder aufgefüllt. Im Aufenthaltsraum steht ein Fernseher bereit. Moycullen ist ein hervorragender Ausgangsort für Fahrten nach Connemara, aber auch nach Galway City oder weiter nach Süden in den Burren. Der Ort selbst hat mehrere Supermärkte und Pubs und bleibt dabei doch beschaulich. Ich habe mich gleich sehr wohlgefühlt und komme auf meiner nächsten Reise bestimmt wieder!
