Lotus Field Homestay

This is a lovely place to stay if you enjoy being in nature and would like to be off the beaten path. It's in the countryside and surrounded by natural limestone. The place is rustic, but not so rustic that it's without the comforts you need like a small fridge with drinks, toiletries, and comfortable beds. The small cabin units are very clean with great water pressure. It has much of what you need but still feels remote. Like glamping. What also adds to the charm of the place is the lovely staff that keeps things going. Especially Zue (pronounced Zwee). He is truly one of the sweetest people we've ever met. We really enjoyed chatting with him about his life in Ninh Binh and his adventures in learning english. We walked into the more lively part of town without issue in the day but I'd recommend catching a grab at night if you need to leave the property. It's not unsafe but the roads are very dark. We had dinner on site so didn't need to leave at night but hope this note helps another traveler.And if you visit when the weather is warmer, we'd recommend mosquito repellant since it's surrounded by ponds. All in all, a great stay and we would 100 percent return.

A little slice of paradise! This is a great little Homestay where the hosts will go above and beyond to make sure your stay is great. We enjoyed the peace and tranquillity of Lotus Fields Homestay and the stunning location. We loved riding the bikes provided, exploring the local area, sights and cafes. The hosts provided a lovely breakfast each day and had an on-site restaurant as well. The staff were lovely and always smiling. We loved it so much, we stayed an extra day! Upon checkout, we were able to store our luggage and utilise the bikes for the day while we waited for our 9pm sleeper train.

We loved the serenity of the place. Duy who was the property manager was amazing- super helpful and arranged a bunch of tours and transport for us. He was fantastic. The rooms were large and clean and the beds were comfy! We had teally delicious food at the restaurant, especially the spring rolls! Would definitely come back again.

The property is in a stunning location, the staff were incredibly pleasant and their food delicious. They offer free bicycles to get around and the rooms are generously sized.

The rooms themselves are becoming dated and the bathroom could do with a freshen up. But hey it’s Vietnam.

Quel accueil. Quelle gentillesse. Un vrai havre de paix. La chambre au top. Le petit dej avec super vue. On a testé le resto et c'était délicieux (on y a mangé les 2 soirs). Les vélos en prêt. La localisation idéale pour aller en vélo à mua cave (20min) ou a trang an (20min). Tout était parfait.

The location and friendliness of the staff. The location is unique, so peaceful surrounded by nature. Duy was exceptional and could not have looked after us better. Lovely cycling and running routes from the gate.

Nothing, loved it all. Note it is a 10-15 min cycle to nearby shops and cafes but for us that made it more fun. The homestay supplies bikes.

We had the best stay, the location is amazing with some of the most beautiful views we saw in Ninh Binh. Make sure to try the food, far better than any restaurants we tried in the area (especially the pho which was the best we had in Vietnam). Accommodation is exactly like the photos. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a homestay in a stunning area. I hope we can come back one day!

Food is a bit repetitive but its delicious

Finn, his family and rest of staff are lovely and very welcoming and attentive. The location is beautiful, the breakfast they serve is delicious and the quality, cleanliness and services provided are all great and at an affordable price. Definitely a place to go for gorgeous views and relaxing atmosphere
