The room was fabulous. We rented a car and even found free street parking right in front (we might have been lucky!).

The breakfast was just ok - not nearly as good as other places we had stayed.

A central, quiet and cozy stay in Hualien. Run by a lovely couple. We had some language barriers, but a translator helped move those out of the way. The room was bigger than I expected, with one wall all windows (with sheer curtains for privacy and thick curtains to keep the light out. The AC was strong, yet quiet. Bed was huge and comfortable, though a bit soft for my taste. Pillows were firm and stackable for lounging purposes. The bathroom was also quite big, especially the shower was spacious with good pressure and always hot water. Both the room and the bathroom were very clean. There was bottled water in the room and a water fountain on the ground floor. There is no kettle in the room, but you can get warm and boiling water downstairs and sit in the breakfast area (comfy benches). Breakfast is a small menu and ordered in the evening. It was a good portion and filling, though I would have liked a sweet option, too. They helped me book a whale-watching tour and helped me organise taxis whenever I needed them.

Sadly it rained every day when I was in Hualien. BUT it turned into another bonus point for the property, since they had umbrellas I could borrow.

The Hosts are so sweet and nice. The room were clean and location is good. The experience were so good and we definately will stay here again.
