Comfortable bed, clean , nice balcony

Toilet cistern didn't fill, told owner, still didn't fill . Water pressure poor. Also strangely all the property exit gates were locked shut in the afternoon, preventing us getting out The owner later explained it was while they had an afternoon sleep.

Room was very clean and beautiful.

The size and comfort of the bedroom. The mattress was very comfortable, the AC worked well. Room was spotlessly clean. There was a nice lounge area, and balcony available for guests. The garden is very secure, and parking is provided.

Not much to not like. Perhaps the shower could be a tad warmer, but with solar heated showers it is always tricky.

Our recent stay at Volunteer Ceylon was very nice. Our host welcomed us with warm hospitality, he was very friendly, always ready to assist with any requests, and offered great insights and recommendations for local attractions and activities. He also helped us organize a tour in and around Ratnapura. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. The rooms were spacious and equipped with AC and a balcony to make the stay very pleasant. Moreover, the location of Volunteer Ceylon is perfect for both relaxation and exploration. It is located a bit up the hill and therefore it is quiet but in walking distance to Ratnapura Main Street. Overall, my experience at Volunteer Ceylon was fantastic.

Room was nice and clean, sadly there was a cockroach in the bathroom. I don’t mind but maybe there is someone who is very sensitive about it. Staff was super friendly and location was good, you still need a scooter or tuktuk to drive into town.
