Comfortable, warm, homely, and a super host Allie. We were really comfortable here on our way back up to Auckland from our South Island trip. The room was clean and set up well and we had everything we needed for our one night stay. Allie was really warm and welcoming and we enjoyed breakfast and a chat in the morning! We would stay here again 10/10!

Our host was very friendly when we arrived and over the very nice breakfast in the morning. She was informative about the changes in town since we had last been, which made us feel welcome and a little less at a loose end. The was already warmed up and tastefully decorated. The location is fantastic

I wish that I had realized that our room would be upstairs - my parents are old and didn't feel very secure on the polished wooden stairs. Otherwise it was lovely 🌹

Cosy, quiet place to stay. Great for breaking up a long trip. Breakfast was also lovely Bed was very comfortable, and the room we had gave us space to spread out and feel relaxed.
